The International Specialist Security Officer (I.S.S.O.) System
  

The International Specialist Security Officer Matrix identifies the four accreditation and certification institutions; Further Education & Training Awards Council (FETAC), City & Guilds, Edexcel and Right Track. Also included in the Matrix is the levels at which certification is achievable. In order to achieve the International Specialist Security Officer Grades the potential candidates will be required to embark on a variety of training programmes by the four different institutions and through the accumulation of a variety of credits work towards the I.S.S.O. Grades. Right Track also offer three levels of training programmes (Level 1,2,3,) which also accumulate credits in order to achieve the various I.S.S.O. Grades.

The Career Progression Chart or Credit Allocation System as shown above indicates the various credits allocated to the training programmes offered by the four accreditation and certification institutions. The progression of candidates through the various training programmes will accumulate credits associated with the training programmes and through the allocation of these credits will determine the grade at which the candidate will be entitled to be awarded.
