Is this a Course or a License?
The Basic Guarding Skillls is a training programme which is the minimum standard required in order to work as a security officer in the guarding sector. On completion of the training course learners are required to apply to the Private Security Authority for a Static License to work as a security officer.
Can I work in a Licensed Premises?
NO - In order to work in a licensed premises as a security officer it requires a different course i.e. Door Security Procedures and different license i.e. Licensed Premises.
