Door Security Procedures - FETAC 4 Door Security Procedures - FETAC 4

This qualification satisfies the minimum training requirements for mandatory licensing of individuals working with the Door Security Sector of the security industry. What is the Door Security Sector?

The Door Security Sector is working in premises such as Pubs, Clubs, Discos, Hotels, Fast Food Outlets.

Is this a Course or a License?

The Door Security Procedures is a training programme which is the minimum standard required in order to work as a security officer in the door security sector. On completion of the training course learners are required to apply to the Private Security Authority for a Licensed Premises License to work as a security officer.

Can I work in the Guarding Sector?

NO - In order to work in the guarding sector as a security officer it requires a different course i.e. Basic Guarding Skills and different license i.e. Static Security.
